To our new readers, we say "Welcome!" and to our returning visitors, we are glad to see you again. Many collectors, new and seasoned have been able to count on Pick Collecting Quarterly as a source of information. We have changed the publication format to suit the needs of our readers. Many of you have asked that the "old articles" be more accessable. Now you will be able to read those wonderful articles in this issue. We will still be adding more articles so be sure to check back in with us.

Goran has been carefully and painstakingly researching Yngwie Malmsteen picks, along with many other collectors with the same goal, for quite sometime now. We think you'll agree that he did a great job in packaging all the info he had collected over the years to give us this comprehensive article, which is the first part of his series covering the pickography of Yngwie Malmsteen.

While it'd be no surprise to see that Ron "All Access Pass" Richlinski has a nice collection of guitar picks, for the pick collectors who know him, what may probably surprise you is seeing his collection of miniature drum sets ... many of them signed by the drummer who's personal set was the model and inspiration for these exceptional works of art crafted by Rick Parries of Small World Drums.
